Description
Egregor represents a multi-meaningful complex metaphysical concept from the Hellenic era, but in the shortest definition it refers to a common set of thoughts and emotions of all mental entities in one place that share a common motivation, including from the micro environment such as the family, to the macro environment that can be entire nations.
For this reason, we considered that the term is an almost ideal name for this wine, which with all its attributes has the characteristics of an Egregor for all those who will find their inspiration and connection with others similar to themselves while enjoying this wine.
Egregor consists of a blend of three varieties, Prokupac as dominant with a share of about 60%, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, both in a ratio of about 20% each. The egregor is formed only in ideal agricultural years when the atmospheric conditions are such that they can produce the best quality harvest. All the grapes come from one of the best vineyards in the Župa, which is Varina, according to many connoisseurs, one of the first candidates for the future registration of Grand Cru appellations of Serbia. Wine is produced by a combination of spontaneous and fermentation with selected yeasts with a minimum of interventions and oenological operations. It is aged for 24 months in new and used slightly charred barrique barrels exclusively made of Serbian oak. After barrification, the wine is aged for equalization in stainless steel tanks, then in bottles, so we have to wait almost four years for this wine to be released on the market. It will certainly further develop in the bottle and age well, so that it represents, to put it in financial terminology, a kind of safe wine futures.
TASTE: We will let you discover the deep universe and multi-layered nature of this wine for yourself, but we will tickle your imagination by noticing that this wine is characterized by exceptional extractiveness, elegant soft tannins, as well as an almost imperceptible phenomenally balanced alcohol of around 14%, and a clear dominance of the Župa terroir, both in the aromatics , as well as on taste
FOOD: This wine will go perfectly with the most demanding dishes with intense flavors and spices based on red meat and game, but it will also be a perfect pair with barbecue specialties, as well as dishes of increasingly popular Asian cuisine dominated by soy sauce or teriyaki sauce.
NOTE: Дecanting is recommended for at least 15 to 30 minutes, preferably longer.
