Askurđel

Askurđel presents a blend of Italian Riesling and indigenous Smederevka varieties, from the already well-known Varina locality near Trnavci village in the wine-growing Župa. The specific microclimate of the location, as well as the substrate made of white volcanic tuff, known in Župa as Belobrežina, gives it exceptional minerality as well as a special fruity, almost muscat aromatic character, although no muscat variety participates in the blend itself. It took the name after the term for the ancestor of the seventh generation, which in this case is also the first ancestor of the family that took the surname Radenković. With the likable acid behind and almost imperceptible 13% of alcohol, it will go fantastically with white meat, white sauces, white fish, all kinds of salads, as well as with all kinds of pasta and pizza, and it will not disagree with grill.
