Askurđel is a blend of Italian Riesling and autochthonous Smederevka, from the already well-known Varina region in the vicinity of the village of Trnavci in the wine-growing Župa. The specific microclimate of the location, as well as the base consisting of white volcanic tuff, known in Župa as belobrežina, gives it an exceptional minerality as well as a special fruity, almost muscat aromatic character, although not a single muscat variety participates in the blend itself.
He took his name from the term that represents the ancestor of the seventh generation, which in this particular case is also the ancestor of the family who first took the surname Radenkovic.
With a pleasant acidity behind which an almost imperceptible 13% alcohol is hidden, it will go fantastically well with white meat, white sauces, white fish, all kinds of salads, as well as all kinds of dough and pizza, and it will not be in conflict with the grill.
